ProcedureEdit
- Obtain the declaration to inform the birth from the Ambassador's/Commissioner's Office of Sri Lanka.
- Complete the declaration and submit to the Ambassador/ High Commission of Sri Lanka in the country where birth occurred.
- Submit the all required documents with the declaration form.
- A copy of the birth certificate is issued to the informant free of charge.
