Procedure

• Go to the DMV
• Fill up the required information in the South Carolina Electronic Vehicle Registration Program (SCDMV EVR)
  • Enter all the needed information and issue temporary tag on the date of sale
  • Finalizes the electronic application for registration.
• Submit the necessary documents.
  • OR/CR of the vehicle
  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of residence
• SDMV EVR will mail the license plate and title in the address that you have provided
