South Africa - Online Apply for Funza Lushaka Teaching Bursary scheme

- Step 2 : To apply for Funza Lushaka Teaching Bursary Scheme online, the applicant has to visit the e-Government Portal by clicking the following link: Apply Online
- Step 3 : If you already have an account in the portal, you can enter your registered Email Address and Password in the respective fields and click on “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to enter into the portal.
- Step 4 : Otherwise, click “Sign Up/Register” option which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to create an account. Registration page will open.
- Step 5 : Now put a tick in both the boxes and click on the “Continue” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.
- Step 6 : There are five steps to be completed for registration. In the Step 1, the applicant should provide the Personal details like name, ID number (for SA citizens) and Passport number (for Non-citizens) and then click on “Next” button which is highlighted in “Green ” in the below image.
- Step 7 : In Step 2, provide contact number and Email ID and Click on “Next” button. In Step 3, add your Suburb/Township/Village and click “Next” button. In step 4, create a password and click “Next” button to proceed.
- Step 8 : In Step 5, enter the verification code shown and click “Register” button. In the next page, you will be directed to enter the OTP which is sent to your mobile number and Email Id. Enter the OTP and click “Submit” button.
- Step 9 : You will get a successful completion of registration message on the top of the page. Now enter the Login credentials in the respective fields and click on “Login” button. You will be redirected to the ‘Dashboard’ page of the e-Government portal.
- Step 10 : In that page, click “Online Bursary Application” option and click “Funza Lushaka Bursary” option in the page that opens.
- Step 11 : Select the check box corresponding to the “Terms and conditions” to accept the Terms and conditions and proceed to fill the application.
- Step 12 : On the dashboard menu, click on “application” button. Follow the on-screen instructions and proceed to fill the application.
- Step 13 : Provide appropriate details in the relevant fields provided and upload documents wherever necessary.
- Step 14 : Once all the details have been provided, accept the declaration to confirm the legibility of the details provided. After submitting, you will receive an email specifying the status of your application submission.
- Step 15 : After your application has been completed online, you will be prompted to make a printout. This will serve as proof of your application. Keep a copy for yourself, and keep another to submit at the university where you have been accepted and where you will be registering.
- Step 16 : Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach these with the printout of the application form.
- Step 17 : Then, submit the form and all the required documents to the Coordinator at the university. The application and attachments will be examined and verified for validity.
- Step 18 : Once all the processes get over, you will receive the response about the outcome of the application.
