Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To get sanitation services from municipality, the applicant must go to the Municipal Office in South Africa. Contacts Link
2. The applicant must approach the technical department in the respective municipal office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant must provide the “Municipal Account” details to the respective authority in the Municipal office.
5. After verifying the personal details, the required sanitation services will be provided to the applicant by the respective authorities in the municipal office.
6. The fee details and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

• Water and Sanitation services are not provided to private towns, namely, De Hoek, Goedverwacht and Wittewater.
• However, for Goedverwacht and Wittewater, water is provided at coastal region on request.
