Procedure

Apply by Email:

1. To apply for a Zoning Extract Certificate, the applicant must visit the nearest district building development management offices (Public Works & Infrastructure) Link
2. The application form varies for different city and municipality; therefore, the respective application form must be obtained from the authorities at the management office, or else can be downloaded online from the link
3. The filled application form must be sent to the nearest district planning office’s official mail ID.
4. After receiving the application form request, the department will process and send the payment invoice to the applicant’s mail ID.
5. The applicant must pay the zoning extract application fee of R300, and the proof of payment must send again to the official mail ID of the department.
6. After that the Zoning Extract application will be approved and the certificate will be issued to the applicant.
7. The processing to get the zoning extract certificate will be intimated to the applicant after applying.

• Zoning Extract Fee – R300.00

• The validity of the zoning extract permit will be mentioned in the approval certificate issued to the applicant.
