  1. To apply for a Prospecting Right online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Link
  2. If you already have an account, enter Username and Password in respective fields and click “Login” button. Otherwise, click “Create new login” button.
  3. Complete all the sections in the Registration page with relevant details and click “Submit” button. After successful registration, click “here” button in next page to continue.
  4. Now you will be redirected to the login page, login using your Email ID and password and click “Login” page. In the homepage, click on “New Application - Form B” option under “Prospectingrights” tab.
  5. Before you proceed with your application, please go through the information that is listed in the first page in order to make sure you understand the process you will follow for your application.
  6. After that, select the check box and the click “I Accept” button to proceed. In step 1, enter all your general information and details of commodities as applicable and click “Next” button.
  7. In the next step, select the check box and click “Next” button to proceed. Likewise, complete all the steps by entering the required information and clicking “Next” button.
  8. Also upload the required documents by following the on-screen instructions and proceed further.
  9. Once completed, submit the application by clicking the applicable button and complete the submission process.Make the payment as directed in the application module.
  10. If the system accepts your application, you will be requested to consult with the landowner, legal occupier of the land or any other affected party.
  11. Submit the outcome of the consultations to the regional manager within 30 days.
  12. If all the requirements have been met, the regional manager will submit the application to the Minister for consideration.

EligibilityEdit

  • Any individual or a person owning a company who wants to conduct a survey or investigation on an area of land for locating its mineral contents can apply.
  • The person applying should possess a valid identity document.
  • The concerned organisation must have a proper Incorporation Certificate.


FeesEdit

The cost will be determined according to the mineral that you intend to mine.


ValidityEdit

A prospecting right can be granted for a maximum period of 5 years depending upon the user’s request.
