Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Delivery of Goods to Ex-State Warehouse in person, the applicant must visit any nearest Customs office.

- Visit any nearest Customs Office branch and obtain Application for Delivery of Goods Ex State Warehouse (DA 68 Form) from the respective department. Or click here to download: Link
- Complete the form as required with relevant details under respective sections. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
- After completing, attach all the documents required for the process with the completed form.
- Then, proceed to submit the package to the relevant authority at the branch office for further processes. Make the necessary payment as directed.
- After all the processes have got completed, the concerned authorities will proceed to perform the necessary processes as per the applicant’s request.
- The applicant can obtain any information regarding the progress of his/her request, from the office where the application has been made.

- The applying person can be an importer, an exporter, clearing agent or a traveller.

Need for the DocumentEdit
The main purpose of State Warehouses is to secure the duty and VAT due on undeclared, abandoned or seized goods. Declared goods detained provisionally for the correct tariff classification or without a permit are also stored in state warehouses.
Information which might helpEdit
- The state provides state warehouses for the safekeeping of goods. These are managed by Customs.
- Once the importer or owner of the goods has met all customs requirements, the goods may be released on receipt of state warehouse rent. Unclaimed goods may be sold by public auction after a prescribed period from the date on which the goods were placed in the state warehouse. The proceeds go towards covering duties, VAT or other expenses.
