  1. To Apply for a Certificate for Multi Crew Cooperation, the applicant has to approach the CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY link
  2. There are several ATOs in South Africa that offer MCC training. Choose an ATO that is approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).
  3. The MCC training program includes both theoretical and practical components.
  4. The applicant will learn about crew resource management, communication, decision-making, and other skills necessary for working in a multi-crew environment.
  5. The practical component involves simulator training with an instructor.
  6. After completing the training, the applicant needs to pass an MCC assessment. This involves demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a multi-crew environment.
  7. After successfully passed in the exam, An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  8. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  9. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  10. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  11. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  12. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  13. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  14. Then the application will be processed further.
  15. Once the process gets completed, the applicant will get the certificate through mail or by visiting the office.
  16. This entire process can be completed within 5 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
