Procedure

During lockdown, Applications are welcome through the email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
Apply through email

1. To apply for a Cabin Crew Validation Skills Test through email, the applicant has to lodge the applications through email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
2. The address and contact details of the South African Civil Aviations Authority can be found in the following link: Link
3. Download the Validation Skills test form by clicking the following link: Link
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Now, complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account.
6. After paying the fees, make scanned copies of the required documents and the completed application form. Proceed to submit it through the following email address: [email protected]
7. Indicate the application number of the particular category that you are applying as the subject of the mail.
8. Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
9. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and further required steps will be taken accordingly.
10. When the relevant document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be sent an SMS from the office and the applicant can collect it by themselves or arrange a courier service for collection.

Eligibility

• Any Cabin Crew License holder, who wants to obtain Validation Skills test, can apply.
• Any Foreign Cabin Crew member, who requires validation of the Skills Test report that he/she possesses can also apply.

• All Cabin Crew license holders will be required to be in compliance with the South African Civil Aviation Technical Standards. Refer page number 312: Link

• Cabin Crew License number
• Aviation training Organisation name
• Operator’s name
• Accountable person’s name and Contact number
• Particulars related to Skills Test Report
• Assessment criteria
• Payment receipt number

• Any foreign crew number, who wants to get his/her Skills test report analysed for any advancement processes, should obtain a validation.
