Procedure

During lockdown, Applications are welcome through the email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
Apply through email

1. To apply for a Cabin Crew Skill Test Certificate through email, the applicant has to lodge the applications through email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
2. The address and contact details of the South African Civil Aviations Authority can be found in the following link: Link
3. Download the Skills Test Certificate Cabin Crew form by clicking the following link: Link
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Now, complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account.
6. After paying the fees, make scanned copies of the required documents and the completed application form. Proceed to submit it through the following email address: [email protected]
7. Indicate the application number of the particular category that you are applying as the subject of the mail.
8. Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
9. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the Certificate will be processed for issuance.
10. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be sent an SMS from the office and the applicant can collect it by themselves or arrange a courier service for collection.

Eligibility

• Any cabin crew license applicant, who wants to obtain the Skills Test Certificate license to get his/her license document issued, can apply.
• The applicant must have undergone and obtained proper skills test prior to the application.

• Full name and License number of Cabin Crew
• Type of conducted test
• Passed Examination Date

Need for the Document

• Any person who wants to get his/her Cabin Crew license issued, must complete appropriate skills test as prescribed in the SA-CATS 64 and obtain a Skills Test Certificate from the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
