During lockdown, Applications are welcome through the email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
Apply through email

  1. To apply for an Air Traffic Services Temporary Validation Certificate through email, the applicant has to lodge the applications through email address of the South African Civil Aviations Authority.
  2. The address and contact details of the South African Civil Aviations Authority can be found in the following link: Link
  3. Download the ATS Temporary Validation Certificate by clicking the following link: Link
  4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  5. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
  6. Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account. Find the information regarding payment in the office website or contact the office.
  7. After paying the fees, make scanned copies of the required documents and the completed application form. Proceed to submit it through the following email address: [email protected]
  8. Indicate the license number of the particular category that you are applying as the subject of the mail.
  9. Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
  10. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the Certificate as applicable.
  11. When the Certificate is ready to be collected, the applicant will be sent an SMS from the office and the applicant can collect it by themselves or arrange a courier service for collection.
