Apply by mail

1. To Apply for Accredited Tourist Guide Training Course, the applicant has to approach the SOUTH AFRICAN TOURISM SERVICES ASSOCIATION link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.

5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.

8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Then the application will be processed further.
11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
12. The applicant will be enrolled in the accredited tourist guide training course. The applicant will need to attend the training sessions and complete the coursework to graduate from the program.
13. Once the applicant has completed the training course, the applicant will need to pass an assessment to become an accredited tourist guide in South Africa.
14. The assessment may involve a written test, practical demonstrations, and an evaluation of your knowledge and skills.
15. For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
16. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
