Procedure

1. Applicant must first go to the police for finger printing
2. The police would send the information of the applicant to the Immigration and Nationality Department and then will be made a decision on his or her application before issuing the passport.
3. The staff helps the applicant to fill the application form, after computerized passport photograph and fingerprint a receipt is issued

Citizens abroad cannot apply for a passport while overseas

Children (17 and Under) : USD $64 dollar

• Because Somalia has not had a functioning central government since January 1991. Somali passports are therefore not valid for entry into Norway.
