Solomon Islands - Apply for Visitor Visa
ProcedureEdit
- To apply for the procedure you will need to complete an application form. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the form.
- You will need to submit the completed form together with your supporting documents either upon or prior to your arrival at the port of entry. Note: Check the links provided under "Eligibility" section to know if you will need to apply for a visa before your scheduled arrival in Solomon Islands.
- Pay applicable fee.

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Solomon Islands Embassy or Consulate in the country you are currently staying. They will be able to help you submit your request to obtain a visitor visa.
Required DocumentsEdit
Persons entering or leaving Solomon Islands must be in possession of a valid passport issued by the proper Passport authority of the country to which he is a citizen or national and must be in possession of a valid onward/return air ticket from Solomon Islands.

EligibilityEdit
Visitors travelling to Solomon Islands must satisfy the following requirements prior to travelling:
- Must be in possession of a valid passport or other valid travel documents
- An onward air ticket which can be used to travel from Solomon Islands to other countries which the visitor will be ask to enter.
- Must have sufficient funds to sustain himself/herself whilst in Solomon Islands.
- Must have valid visas to enter other countries (where required) from Solomon Islands.
Note: If all these requirements are met, a visitor will be granted a visitor's permit.

- Application fee for application made in Solomon islands: SBD $200
Extension of visitors permit after 3 months:

- Application fee for application made in Solomon islands: SBD $700

Extensions of an additional 3 months may be granted under special circumstances.
