  1. Slovenian citizen can apply for a passport at any administrative unit on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
  2. Citizen who is residing or staying abroad or overseas, but due to health or other legitimate reasons can not return to their country, may apply for a passport well in the body of the RS abroad, which is responsible for consular affairs.
  3. In case of emergencies, such as medical treatment, illness or death of a close family member, urgent business, you can apply for a passport at the Ministry of the Interior.
  4. Slovenian citizen has the possibility of having a priority need for obtaining a passport, extra charge higher fees apply priority for the manufacture of this document and in any administrative unit in the RS.
  5. Priority for the production of a passport is given to the validity of the passport in addition to the form, which costs EUR 28 per 32 p

  • When applying citizen must prove their identity by annexing the old passport, if it does not, however, by annexing another identification document (ID card, driving license or other public document, issued by a national authority and a photograph).

Costs EUR 28 per 32 pages and 30.50 for 48 pages an additional charge an amount equal to double the tax issue and an application for a passport, as follows:

Passport with 10 year validity 28.10

Passport with a 5-year validity 14.50

Passport with validity of 3 years 6.34

Passport with validity of 1 year 5.42.
