Procedure

1. You may file your application for a permanent residence permit yourself, or you can have a legal representative or authorized person to file it for you at the administrative unit where you reside.
2. Make sure that at the time you submit your application that you have a valid temporary residence permit.

• You must be legally residing in Slovenia for a period of five years
• At the time of application, you must be a holder of a valid Temporary Residence Permit or has successfully applied for extension of stay in the country
• Has a health insurance
• Sufficient means of subsistence.
