Apply online

  1. To Renew Re-Entry Permit, the applicant has to visit Immigration and Check Point Authority website Link
  2. Click on the “Permanent Resident” tab and click “Apply/Renew Re- Entry permit tab” Link
  3. Check the documents that are required to Renew Re-Entry Permit which is also mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. Click “apply Online” tab or tap the following Link
  5. Under” I WANT” Choose the services you require. i.e. (Self or on behalf of others in case of a minor or disable/elderly/sickly persons)
  6. You will be redirected to the next page, the applicant has to login with either Singpass app or Singpass Id number and password.
    Note: If you don’t not have an account you can register by clicking on register for singpass, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password
  7. On the next page read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct
  8. After submission the applicant should pay the non-refundable of S$10 and download the receipt as a proof of payment.
  9. The general processing time is within one working day (excluding the day of submission). Some applications may take longer to process.

  • Applicant's Identity Card Number (UIN)
  • Applicant's valid travel document (with at least 3 months' validity)
  • Applicant's spouse Identity Card Number (UIN), if applicable
  • Applicant's highest academic qualification attained and country where the qualification was attained, if applicable

EligibilityEdit

  • Any person who intends to Renew Re-Entry Permit, are eligible to make this application.



FeesEdit

  • The applicant needs pay the non-refundable of S$10
  • Separate fee is chargeable for each REP issued.



ValidityEdit

The validity of renewed re entry permit is one year.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Applicant would have been issued a Re-Entry Permit (REP) when he/she receive their permanent residency.
  • A valid REP is necessary whenever a permanent resident (PR) travels out of Singapore. The REP allows you to retain your permanent residence status while away from Singapore.



Information which might helpEdit

  • If you leave Singapore or remain overseas without a valid REP, you will lose your permanent residence status. If you enter Singapore without a valid REP, you would be deemed as a foreign visitor, subject to prevailing entry requirements.
