- To obtain Toxic Industrial Waste Collector Licence, the applicant has to make the application in GoBusiness licensing portal or tap the following link
- The applicant to login with their Singpass Id number and password
- Note: If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.
- The applicant has to necessary information and submit the required document that are mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After submitting the documents review the application and click submit.
- After the successful submission the authority send out a letter reply to the applicant within 5 working days of receipt of the application. If the application is incomplete, the applicant will be informed to furnish the pending documents/information within 2 weeks.
- After successful submission Book pre-licensing inspection, make an appointment for inspection to Licensing & Environmental Assessment Department (contact link of the office given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The authorized officer will inspect the place. Upon full compliance to licensing requirements and submission of required documents, the authority will approve the application. You will receive a notification via email and GoBusiness within 3 - 7working days.
- The applicant has to make payment of $285.00 via credit or debit card.
- The National environment agency will post out the hardcopy licences within 7- 10 working days upon successful payment.

- Any company who wishes to collect, treat, and/or dispose of toxic industrial waste controlled under the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations can apply for this licence.

Licence for the collection of toxic industrial waste will be issued on the condition that;
- The toxic waste treatment, storage and disposal facility owned by the collector is located in a suitable industrial area outside water catchment;
- The types and quantities of toxic wastes are commensurate with the treatment process and disposal facilities;
- Adequate measures such as containment areas, leak detection and warning devices, proper emergency action plans, neutralising agents, handling gear, absorbent material, etc are provided to prevent and mitigate any accidental release of the toxic wastes;
- Incinerator complies with NEA's Guidelines for a Special Waste Incinerator.

Need for the DocumentEdit
The Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations require all authorised toxic waste collectors to be licensed. The licence for the collection of toxic waste will be issued on condition that;
- The toxic waste treatment, storage and disposal facility owned by the collector is in a suitable industrial area outside water catchment
- The types and quantities of toxic wastes are commensurate with the treatment processes and disposal facilities
