Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Obtain License to Exhibit Animals, the applicant has to approach, the Animal & Veterinary Service, a cluster of National Parks Board in Singapore Link
2. Applicant has to get the form from the respective authority.
3. Complete the application form with the necessary details.
4. Make sure that the applicant should have the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the completed form along with the documents to the authority.
6. If all the processes are completed successfully, the board will issue the license to the applicant within the stipulated processing period of time.

Apply online

1. To do the applying process in online, the applicant has to make the application in GoBusiness licensing portal or tap the following Link
2. The applicant needs to login with their Singpass Id number and password

   Note:If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.

3. Now the applicant has to add the general information and click the “Next” button.
4. After this applicant need to provide the application details without ignoring it, and click the “Next” button.
5. After submitting the details, upload the required documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Now pay the prescribed fee by the PayPal, VISA, MasterCard and give “Submit”.
7. Once the process is over, the board will issue the license through mail or the applicant can visit the office.
8. The processing time its take about 4days, once the license is ready. The board will intimate the applicant through mail or SMS.

Required Documents

• Approval letter from landlord/ management of exhibition venue.
• Written permission from the National Environment Agency (NEA) or Town Council (TC) as appropriate.
• For permanent exhibitions, written approval from URA or HDB is also required.
• Names and particulars of all exhibitors.
• Layout plan of the exhibition venue (showing animal display and holding areas).
• Design and construction plan of the animal enclosures or cages/ tanks.
• Plan for the management and care of the animals and the number of personnel involved.
• Programme of exhibition activities including talks, demonstrations, animal performances, competitions, games.
• Import licence and CITES permit from AVAs Animal, Meat & Seafood Regulatory Branch or Wildlife Regulatory Branch if applicable.

• The applicant will provide the letter of instruction if the exhibition carried out by many exhibitors. Each exhibitor shall acknowledge receipt of the letter by indicating it on the single Acknowledgement by exhibitor form, which is to be submitted by the applicant before the licence is issued.
