Procedure

Apply online

1. To Get License or Permit for Cleaning Vessels, the applicant can use the following link
2. Before applying, applicant has to read the guideline and click the “New Application” button.
3. After this enter all the required details and click the “Next” button.
4. After applying for the next five section apply all the details.
5. Upload the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After you give the “submit”, the processing will start.
7. Once the process is completed, the applicant gets the permit through post or can get from the Singapore National Water Agency contact link
8. The processing time for this procedure is 7 to 10days.

Required Documents

• Vessel with Vessel ID clearly shown on both sides
• Vessel Engine showing that it is 4-stroke (documentation proof of 4-stroke engine is also acceptable)
• Vessel Engine
• Digital copies of:
• Insurance policy covering third party liabilities, including wreck removal and oil pollution damages
• Mooring or storage location. Unauthorised mooring is not allowed anywhere in the reservoir except with prior approval from the Board
• Certification and Craft Inspection Checklist issued by a marine surveyor approved by PUB or Harbour / Pleasure craft licence issued by MPA
• Relevant certificate of competency issued by MPA for operating a vessel such as a Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence or a Harbour Craft Manning Licence

NOTE:

• PDF file sizes: should not exceed 3MB each
• Image file sizes: should not exceed 200KB each
• Acceptable Image formats: JPG / PNG / GIF / PDF / BMP

Eligibility

• Applicants to apply for vessel permits online for both commercial and recreational purposes in reservoirs.

Fees

• Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request.

Validity

• The validity is for one year, the applicant should renew the certificate before 14days of expiring.

Need for the Document

• Under the Public Utilities (Reservoirs, Catchment Areas and Waterway) Regulations 2006, any vessel entering reservoirs in Singapore must obtain a valid vessel permit.
