Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Get Licence to Handle and Transport Radioactive Materials, or Deal in Irradiating Apparatus, the applicant has to make the application in GoBusiness licensing portal link
2. Enter a search “Licence to Handle and Transport Radioactive Materials” then click on "Add to selection"> click on "Review and Apply" and then click the "Proceed" button.
3. The applicant can also make a search by clicking the “Government Agencies” and select “National Environment Agency” NEA and choose the appropriate service.
4. The applicant needs to login with their corpPass Id number and password

   Note:
   If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.

5. The applicant has to necessary information and submit the required document that are mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After submitting the documents review the application and click submit.
7. After the successful submission the authority send out a letter reply to the applicant within 5 working days of receipt of the application. If the application is incomplete, the applicant will be informed to furnish the pending documents/information within 2 weeks.
8. After successful submission Book pre-licensing inspection, Make an appointment for inspection to NEA (contact link of the office given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
9. The authorized officer will inspect the place. Upon full compliance to licensing requirements and submission of required documents, the authority will approve the application. You will receive a notification via email and GoBusiness within 3 - 7working days.
10. The applicant has to make payment of$145 via credit or debit card.
11. The National environment agency will post out the hardcopy licences within 1 month upon successful payment.
12. The applicant can check the status via GoBusiness licensing portal.
