Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Get Licence or Permit for Mobile Food Wagon, the applicant has to approach National Environment Agency link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
3. The application form also downloaded from the following link
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
5. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
6. The applicant should attach the photocopies of the required documents while submitting.
7. Fee for this procedure has mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Applicant can submit the application form and the documents to the respective office.
9. The authority will review the application form and the documents.
10. The completed application will be processed in about 5 working days. NEA will inform the applicant on the outcome of the application by email.
11. Upon successful completion and verification, the authority will issue the document by visiting the office.

Required Documents

• A photocopy of one of the following (where applicable):
  • Both sides of NRIC [for application as Individual] or
  • Business Profile Information from Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) [for application as Company] or
  • Certificate of Registration from Registrar of Societies [for application as Society]
• A scaled metric layout plan of the food wagon.
• Vehicle registration card / Log card
• Photographs of the internal and external parts of the vehicle showing licence number plate.
• Approvals from respective landowners and relevant government agencies (URA) to operate mobile food wagon at operation sites.
• Approvals from relevant government agencies relating to use and operation of the vehicle as mobile food wagon (eg. LTA, SCDF, etc)
• The list of food handlers employed using the prescribed form in Annex E Form link

The fee is $195.00 per annum. Payment should be made by GIRO.
