  1. To Get Co-Funding For Assisted Conception Procedures (ACP), the applicant has to approach the MINISTRY OF HEALTH link or MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT (MSF) link
  2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office to get Co-Funding for Assisted Conception Procedures (ACP).
  3. Applicant has to fill all the necessary details in the application form.
  4. Make sure that you have all the needed documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After completing the form, submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents to the respective authority.
  6. Once the above process gets over, the authority will issue the granted document to the applicant by visiting the office.
  7. Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority’s request.
  8. The processing time for this procedure is within one month days.

EligibilityEdit

Eligible couples undergoing Assisted Conception Procedures (ACPs) in public Assisted Reproduction (AR) centres can receive up to 75% in co-funding from the Government with effect from 1 Jan 2020. The co-funding will cover:

  • Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) treatment, for a maximum of 3 fresh and 3 frozen ART cycles.
  • Government co-funding for up to two out of the existing six co-funded ART cycles for women aged 40 and above*
  • Government co-funding for up to $1,000 per cycle for three cycles of Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI).


For ART Co-Funding:

  • The applicants are below 40 years of age at the start of the ART cycle (except for the last two cycles of ART)
  • The applicant has not already received 3 co-funded fresh and 3 co-funded frozen cycles in the past
  • The applicant has been assessed by a doctor to have met the clinical requirements for ART, and
  • The applicant OR the applicant’s spouse must be a Singapore Citizen at the start of the ART cycle.


Investigations and tests are required to determine if a couple has met the clinical criteria to undergo ART treatment, and this process may take up to 3 months before a couple can commence their ART cycle.

For IUI Co-Funding:

  • The applicant are below 40 years of age at the start of the IUI cycle
  • The applicant has been assessed by a doctor at the public AR centre to be suitable to try IUI before proceeding to ART and
  • The applicant OR the applicant’s spouse must be a Singaporean Citizen.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • The co-funding scheme covers ART procedures such as in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and its variations (with or without intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), in-vitro maturation, donor cycles and double stimulation cycles), as well as gamete intra-fallopian transfer (GIFT).
  • All the standard procedures, from ovarian stimulation or thawing of the embryo to embryo transfer, can be considered for co-funding. However, initial consultations and investigations prior to a patient’s decision to start ART treatment are not included.
