Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Apply Extension of Banker Guarantee Form, the applicant has to approach Ministry of Manpower contact link
2. The applicant can download the application form from the following link
3. Read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct (Incomplete application form will be rejected)
4. The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After completing the application form the applicant has to submit the application form to the relevant officer or post out the form to Work Pass Division of ministry of Manpower. contact details of the office address was given in “Office Location and Contacts” section of this page)
6. After submitting the application form the authority will contact the applicant within 12 working days.
7. If the application meets all the requirements, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
8. Upon successful completion, Apply Extension of Banker Guarantee Form will be granted to the applicant within the stipulated period of time.
9. The outcome of the application will be mailed to the company.

Need for the Document

• With a Banker's Guarantee (BG) in place, SMEs are able to acquire goods, secure contracts or attain government licenses needed to proceed with business. When the transaction is completed and payment made in full, the funds placed with the bank by the SME in order to purchase the BG are released back to the firm.
