Apply In Person

1. For Apply to become a Social Service Institute Trainer, the applicant has to approach the Social Service Institute in Singapore link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office to become a trainer.
3. Applicant has to fill all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure that you have all the needed documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After completing the form, submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents to the respective authority.
6. Once the above process gets over, the authority will verify the documents.
7. After verification, the applicant will get the notification through the SMS, the authority will issue the granted document to the applicant by visiting the office.

Eligibility

Applicants should also possess at least one of the following criteria:

• At least 2 years of working experience (for applicants with a minimum of 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits).
• At least 1.5 years of full-time working experience (for applicants with a NITEC in Community Care and Social Services).

Fees

• A non-refundable registration fee of $53.50 (inclusive of 7% GST) is applicable. Payment for registration fee can be made via Credit/Debit during registration.
• Fees: Full Fees: $9,100.
• Estimated Nett Fees: $910 (excluding GST, after SSG subsidy).

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
