Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply or Renew Singapore Passport, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore contact link
  2. Applicant has to collect the application form for renewal and apply Singapore passport from the authorised officer.
  3. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
  4. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form.
  6. Submit the application form to the respective office.
  7. Fee for this procedure is given in the “Fees” section of this page.
  8. From the date of submission, the processing time for this procedure is three to four weeks.
  9. Upon successful submission, the applied passport or (if any) cancelled passport will be issued to the applicant.


Apply online

  1. To apply online the applicant has to visit Immigration and Checkpoint authority website’s passport application page link
  2. Under” I WANT”, Choose the passport application services you require. i.e. (Self or on behalf of others in case of a minor or disable/elderly/sickly persons)
  3. You will be redirected to the next page, if you have an account, enter your Sing pass ID and password and log in


  1. Note: If you don’t not have an account you can register by clicking on register now,read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password
  2. On the next page read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct
  3. Upload the required photo (check the link under required document below for more detail) and submit
  4. Pay the required fee using your credit/debits card and submit
  5. Make an E-Appointment to collect your passport either at the post office or self –collect machine at the ICA building or passport collection counter at the ICA building
  6. The applicant must carry the necessary documents while collecting passports.


Apply By Post or Deposit Box

  1. To apply by post or deposit box the applicant has to download the application form. application form
  2. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
  3. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. After completion of passport post the applicant form to the given address or alternatively drop the application form in the deposit box outside the ICA building.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Your existing original Singapore passport
  • A police report in English or a notarised Statutory Declaration is required if the passport is lost.
  • Photocopy of photographs size
  • Copy of Nationality identity card
  • Completed application form


For applicants below 16 years old:

  • Your birth certificate;
  • Your citizenship certificate (if you are a Singapore citizen by registration and have not been issued with an identity card);
  • Your MOE student card (if applicable);
  • The NRIC of the "consenting" parent or legal guardian accompanying you. For legal guardians, a legal document of guardianship must be produced; or
  • If the "consenting" parent or legal guardian cannot be present, they may authorise their spouse in writing to do so on their behalf. The spouse must bring their NRIC.

EligibilityEdit

  • All citizens of Singapore and the applicant who have to renew the passport can apply.



FeesEdit

  • Passport fee is 4,000
  • Passport fee (first replacement) is 2,500
  • Passport fee (subsequent replacements) is 5000
  • Statutory declaration is 250


For online applications, payment can be made using either:

  • Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card,
  • American Express (AMEX) credit card,
  • Internet direct debit (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank internet banking accounts in Singapore).


For applications by post or deposit box, payment can be made using NETS or Cash Card




ValidityEdit

  • For the new applied passport, the validity is for 5years.
  • If the passport is already expired, the validity for 5years upon renewal.
