Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Apply for Temporary Fair Food Stall in Singapore, the applicant has to approach National Environment Agency link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
3. The application form also downloaded from the following link
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
5. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
6. The applicant should attach the photocopies of the required documents while submitting.
7. Fee for this procedure has mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Applicant can submit the application form and the documents to the respective office (should submit the application at least 2 weeks before the fair commencement date.) or through this mail - [email protected]
9. The authority will review the application form and the documents.
10. The completed application will be processed in about 5 working days. NEA will inform the applicant on the outcome of the application by email.
11. Upon successful completion and verification, the authority will issue the document by visiting the office.

Required Documents

• Only the following can apply for a temporary fair food stall licence:
  
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident (for individual applicant), or
  • Company registered with the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority

  Please complete the Application Form and submit it with the following documents to NEA Central

  Licensing Branch (CLB) via email to [email protected]
  

• Details of the applicant:
  

  A photocopy of one of the following (where applicable):

  • Both sides of NRIC (for application as Individual) or
  • Latest copy (at least within 3 months) of Business Profile Information from Accounting &

  Corporate Regulatory Authority (for application as Company)

• A list of food handlers employed (Annex A), supported with the following documents:
  
  • A photocopy of food handler’s NRIC (both sides);
  • A photocopy of Food Hygiene Course certificate^ of the food handler

  (^Note: All food handlers are required to attend and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course, and

  register with NEA, before they are allowed to work at temporary fair food stalls.)

• A list of food items (including drinks, dessert etc.) for sale.
• A copy of lease contract with temporary fair organiser / appointed temporary fair operator, to occupy the stall at temporary fair.

Eligibility

Any person who intends to Apply for Temporary Fair Food Stall are eligible to make this application.

Fees

The permit fee is $60 regardless of fair duration and number of stalls. There is no licence fee for the food stall licence. Payment is made by GIRO.

Validity

Validity is for one year.
