Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Applicants shall visit the nearby office of SingPass.
2. The contact details of SingPass counters can be found in the link:contact link
3. Refer the office contact details in the “Office contacts & Locations” section below for address details.
4. Collect the application form from the office.
5. Now complete the form with the necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below with the completed application form.
7. Check the application form and then submit it to the concerned authority.
8. Now pay the required fee to the concerned authority.
9. The officer after validating the application form and the documents will provide you with an acknowledgement/receiving slip.
10. They will create an account for you in SingPass and the One Time Passwordwill be mailed to your address.
11. Then you can set up your SingPass account using that with their guidance.
    

Apply Online

1. To apply for SingPass account, you may visit the SingPass portal which can be found in the link :online link
2. Click on the “Login” button. In the SingPass portal, click on “Services” button and select the “Register for SingPass” option.
3. Select the checkbox “I have read and agreed to the Terms of use” after reading the Terms of use. Then, click on the “Register now” button.
4. In the next page, fill in the required details and click on “Submit” button.
5. If your details are correct you will be registered for SingPass.
6. Your SingPass One Time Password will be mailed to your address after 5 working days.
7. You can set up your SingPass account using the One Time Password sent to you through mail. You can log in to your account using the credentials and manage your account.

For Permanent Residents:

• NRIC  or
• Passport with Re-entry Permit  or

For Employment Pass (EP) and Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) holders

• EP/PEP card or;

Eligibility

• The minimum age requirement is 15 years old.

• Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident
• Employment Pass and Personalised Employment Pass holders
• EntrePass holders
• S-Pass holders
• Dependant Pass holders (of EP, PEP, EntrePass and S-Pass holders)
• Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders
• Selected Long Term Visit Pass holders
• Work Permit holders
• Student Pass holders
• Immigration Exemption Order holders

It is valid forever unless the account is terminated

Instructions

• You are allowed to register for a Singpass account only once. The Singpass account requests are final and cannot be submitted again or cancelled.
• Your Singpass password will be mailed to your registered address, therefore make sure that your address registered with the Government is correct and up-to-date.
• Only original documents can be accepted at the Singpass counter.
• You are not allowed to authorize any other person to request/reset your Singpassaccount on your behalf.
