Procedure

Permission is required from Agency to remove urn from an existing niche at any Government Columbarium. There will not be any form of refund for the surrender of lease of niche. Permission is required from the original applicant (OA) of the niche to perform this application. If the person is not the original applicant, he/she required to get the authorization of the OA before you proceed further.

Apply Online

1. To Apply for Removal of Urn and Surrender Niche Lease, the applicant has to make the application in National Environment Agency e- service portal or tap the following link
2. The applicant has to login with their Singpass ID number and password.

   Note: If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.

3. The applicant has to fill all the necessary information in the application form.
4. The applicant has to upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Review the application and submit the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure is free.
7. Once the application meets all the requirements the Removal of Urn and Surrender Niche Lease will be removed and the applicant notified via Email or SMS.
