Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Interbank GIRO Payment, the applicant has to approach National Environment Agency’s Hawker Centre Group link
2. The applicant has to download and complete the application form given in the following link application form
3. The applicant has to complete all necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the documents along with the application form.
6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee of $12 for each application.
7. Submit the application form to National Environment Agency’s Hawker Centre Group either by directly or via post. contact details of the office was given in “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page).
8. The authority will review the application and contact the applicant via email or SMS.
9. The processing time of the application takes up to 4 to 6 weeks.

Instructions

The GIRO deduction will be carried out on the 28th of every month. If the 28th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday,the deduction will be made on the following working day. If the deduction is unsuccessful, NEA will attempt to deduct theamount again on the 13th of the following month. If both deductions are unsuccessful, the outstanding amount will bededucted in the following month together with that current month’s charges. Your GIRO deduction will be discontinued if thedeductions are unsuccessful for 2 consecutive months and you will have to pay by cash/NETs/cheque/credit card/AXS. TheGIRO deduction will resume when the overdue charges are paid.

I hereby consent to NEA’s use of the information provided by me in the courseof any application I have made to the NEA, to facilitate the processing of such application for such purposes. I herebyfurther consent to NEA sharing the information in such application with other Government agencies, or non-governmententities authorised to carry out specific government services, unless prohibited by legislation.
