Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Interbank GIRO (Foreign Worker Levy Payment), the applicant has to approach the MINISTRY OF MANPOWER lINK
2. The applicant has to get the form from the respective office or download the application form from the given link
3. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure that the applicant should have all the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After the completion, the applicant has to submit the completed form and documents through the post.
6. The post details are given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
7. Applicant can check the status of the application through this link, after two weeks of post link
8. The authority will review the application and contact the applicant within one month.
9. If the application meets all the requirements, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.

NOTE: Only submit this form after your Foreign Domestic Worker’s Work Permit application is approved.

Instructions

• The monthly levy will be deducted from your designated bank account on the 17th of the following month (or the next working day if the 17th is a weekend or public holiday).
• If the bank account has insufficient funds and the deduction is unsuccessful, you will be charged a late penalty from the first day of the month for which levy is incurred.
• If the employer has an existing GIRO arrangement, the levy will be deducted from that account until this GIRO application is approved.
• The GIRO arrangement will be used for levy payment of all existing and future foreign domestic workers under the employer until it is terminated, or a new GIRO arrangement is approved. The employer need not re-apply for GIRO when applying for or renewing a work pass.
