Singapore - Apply for Entry Visa

An entry visa is a pre entry permission required for citizens of some countries to enter into Singapore even if they have a valid travel document.
Apply through local contact or strategic partner in Singapore
- The applicant shall submit the online application through a local contact or a strategic partner in Singapore.
- The application form can be downloaded from the following Form 14A online link
- Scan and send the completed application form along with the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page to the local contact or strategic partner in Singapore through any means such as email, etc.
- Pay the required fees amount to them through any means. After payment, collect the acknowledgement and keep it safe for future reference.
- The local contact or strategic partner will do the online application process using the information provided by you.
- Once the application is processed, you will be intimated.
- The E-visa will be sent to you through email.
Apply In-Person through Singapore Overseas Mission or through its authorised visa agent
- Applicants shall visit the nearby office of embassy which is Singapore Overseas mission.Refer the office contact details in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section below for address details. Contact details of embassies Contact link
- The embassy will help you to forward the application to the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
- Collect the application form from the office.
- Now complete the form with the necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below with the completed application form.
- Check the application form and then submit it to the concerned authority.
- Now pay the required fee to the concerned authority.
- The officer after validating the application form and the documents will provide you with an acknowledgement/receiving slip.
- Once it is processed, the embassy will inform the applicant.
- The applicant will be required to carry the acknowledgement/receiving slip when going to collect visa.
Required DocumentsEdit
- Form 14A (PDF, 202KB) duly completed and signed.
- Recent passport-sized colour photograph taken in the last three months.
- Photocopy of passport bio data page (It should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Singapore)
- Form V39A (PDF, 192KB) duly completed (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application (LOI) from Local contact in Singapore)

EligibilityEdit
- The applicant should possess a valid travel document which can be as mentioned below.
- The applicant may hold a valid travel document issued by one of the countries or places listed. They are Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Georgia, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China (PRC), Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen.
- The applicant may possess documents from some countries such as
- Refugee travel documents issued by a Middle East country. These travel documents will be assessed for recognition for entry into Singapore
- A Palestinian Authority passport
- A temporary passport issued by the United Arab Emirates
- A Document of Identity issued by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
- A Travel Permit issued by Macao Special Administrative Region
- The local contact should be either a Singapore citizen (SC) or a Singapore permanent resident (PR) of at least 21 years old and has a SingPass/CorpPass account.
- If the entry visa is for business visit, the local contact must work on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity.

The non-refundable fee is S$30 which can be paid online using a Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card.

InstructionsEdit
- A Singapore entry visa is different from an immigration pass. The immigration pass will be granted by the ICA officers at the point of entry.
- The period of stay granted is mentioned on the visit pass endorsement present on the passport and it is different from the validity of visa.
- Letter of Introduction (LOI) issued by Embassy is accepted, if an LOI from a local contact cannot be obtained.
- A new photograph should be submitted when a new application is made.
- Photographs which are printed must be on a matte or semi matte finish. (a non-reflective photo).
- Your photograph must fulfil ICA’s rules. If it fails to meet these requirements, it will cause delay or result in rejection.
