Procedure

Apply online

1. To Apply Dependant Pass, the applicant has to approach ministry of manpower e- service portal or tap the following link
2. The applicant needs to login with their Singpass Id number and password

   Note: If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with your Sing Pass ID number and password.

3. Read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct (Incomplete application form will be rejected)
4. Upload the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form and pay the application fee of $105.
6. The authority will review the application form, if the application form meets all the requirements the authority advised to pay the entry pass fee of $25.
7. The processing time of this procedure takes up to 6-8 weeks.

Required Documents

Applicant will need these documents to apply for a Dependant’s Pass (DP):

• Copy of the personal particulars page of the candidate’s passport.
• For children who share a passport with their parent, the applicant must also submit the parent’s personal particulars page.

The applicant may need to submit additional documents depending on the family member you the he/she applying for:
Spouse (legally married)

• Copy of the marriage certificate.

Unmarried children under 21 years

• Copy of the official birth certificate stating the parent’s names.
• Verification of Vaccination Requirements (for entry to Singapore) document issued by HPB is needed for foreign-born children who meet these conditions:
• Aged 12 years old and below.
• Applying for a new DP – this includes those whose DPs have expired or been cancelled for more than 30 days.
  

Note: Existing DP, LTVP and Student's Pass holders do not need this document.

• Copy of the adoption order or other relevant documents.

Eligibility

Eligible Employment Pass or S Pass holders can bring certain family members to Singapore on a Dependant's Pass.
A person can apply for a Dependant’s Pass for his/her family if he/she meets these requirements:

• Hold an Employment Pass or S Pass.
• Earn a minimum fixed monthly salary of $6,000. This is based on applicant’s salary, and not based on combined household income.
• Are sponsored by an established, Singapore-registered company (usually your employer).

Fees

• The application fee for each pass is $105 and the applicant has to pay the pass fee of $225 for each pass

Validity

• The validity of the dependant pass is for one year.
