Apply online

1. To Apply for Death Extract, the applicant can use this following link
2. Applicant has to click the “Corporate Application”, it goes to next link
3. In the new link “Apply Press Extract” applicant has to give the full details and click the “Next” button.
4. Once the process is over, the applicant can get the license in Immigration & Checkpoints Authority in Singapore Contact link
5. Applicant can check the status through this link
6. Applicant has to enter the reference number and email id and click the “Next” button to check the result.
7. The fee for this procedure S$40 is payable for a copy of death extract.

NOTE: The processing time to complete this to takes up to 20mins.

• The identification document (Identity Card (IC), passport or citizenship certificate)
• Death certificate issued by the foreign authorities or a certified true copy of the death certificate
• Deceased’s identification documents (Singapore IC, Singapore passport or citizenship certificate)
• Coffin import/ export permit (if available)
• Burial/ cremation permit (if available).
• Your NRIC or FIN/Passport

• The fee for this procedure S$40 is payable for a copy of death extract.

• The validity for the death certificate is forever.

• Name, Gender and Date of Death contained in the Death Certificate
• Singapore Death Registration Number, OR if the deceased died within the last 5 years, the deceased’s Singapore Birth Certificate Number or Identity Card Number
• VISA or Master Credit/Debit Card, American Express Card or Internet Banking Details.
