Apply In Person:
- To Apply for Diploma in Elementary Education (D El Ed) Certificate, the applicant has to approach the National Institute of Open Schooling, Ministry of Education link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or it can be downloaded from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Ensure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee to the concerned officer.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Once the application got approved, the applicant will get a call or notification regarding the application.
- The concerned institution will release the merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- If the applicant is selected for the course, he/she is required to attend a counseling session and complete the admission process by submitting the necessary documents and paying the admission fee.
- Once the examination date is announced, the applicant can download the admit card from the official website and appear for the examination.
- After completing the course successfully, the applicant will be awarded a D.El.Ed certificate through the post.
- This entire process of registration can be completed within 4 – 5 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
- The course completion takes up to 2 years.
