Apply In-Person:
Step 1: First Instalment

  1. To Apply for Cash Assistance for Pregnant Women, the applicant has to approach their nearby Anganwadi Centres link the applicant has to select “State”, “District”, “Project” from the drop – down menu and enter security pin which is displayed on the screen.
    Note: The registration must be done within 150 days of the Last Menstrual Period (LMP).
  2. An application form 1A will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant can download the application form from the following link
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  8. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.


Step 2: Second Instalment

  1. The beneficiary can claim the 2nd instalment of the incentive after 6 months of pregnancy by visiting the Anganwadi center.
  2. Application form 1B will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant can download the application form from the following link
  3. The applicant has to Submit form 1B along with a copy of the MCP (Mother and Child Protection card) card showing at least one Antenatal Check-up (ANC) and a copy of acknowledgment slip Form 1A.
  4. The 2nd instalment can be claimed post 180 days of pregnancy.


Step 3: Third Instalment

  1. The third instalment will be claimed after the birth of the child
  2. An application form 1C will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant can download the application form from the following link
  3. The beneficiary is required to submit duly filled up Form 1C along with a copy of the child's birth registration, ID proof, and MCP card showing that the child has received the first cycle of immunization of CG, OPV, DPT, and Hepatitis B.
  4. The applicant is also required to show a copy of acknowledgment slip Form 1A and Form 1B. The applicant needs to submit a copy of the Aadhaar card at this stage.


Note: Aadhaar card is required in all states except for Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), Assam, and Meghalaya.


Apply Online

  1. To Apply for Cash Assistance for Pregnant Women, the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
  2. The applicant has to click “Beneficiary Login” and enter their Email ID and Password and Login. If the applicant doesn’t have an account the applicant has to click “For Registering New User” and enter their credentials.
  3. Click on the “New Beneficiary” tab for registering under the scheme by filling in the details as per the Beneficiary Registration Form 1.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. After successful completion, the First instalment will be credited to the account.
  7. After 6 months of pregnancy, the applicant has to again login into the PMMVY CAS website and click on the “Second Instalment” tab and fill out Form 1B.
  8. The applicant has to upload a copy of the MCP card showing at least one Antenatal Check-up (ANC) and a copy of the acknowledgment slip Form 1A.
  9. After successful completion, the Second instalment will be credited to the account.
  10. After the birth of the child and the completion of his/her first cycle of immunization of CG, OPV, DPT, and Hepatitis B.
  11. The applicant has to log in to the PMMVY CAS website and click on the “Third Instalment” tab and fill out Form 1C.
  12. Next, the applicant has to enter the Aadhaar details and upload their Aadhaar card and click submit.
  13. After successful completion, the third instalment will be credited to the account.

EligibilityEdit

  • A beneficiary can apply for the scheme only within 730 days from the date of her Last Menstrual Period (MP). The LMP registered in the MCP card will be treated as the Date of Pregnancy under the scheme.
  • All pregnant women and lactating mothers excluding the ones who are in regular employment with the Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) or those who receive similar benefits under any law.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • To provide compensation for the wage loss in terms of cash incentives so that the woman can take adequate rest before and after delivery of the first living child. It is a partial compensation that is a part of a plan to provide a total sum of Rs. 6,000 on average to the woman. The remaining cash incentive (of Rs. 1,000) is provided under Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) after institutional delivery.

Incentive Disbursal Structure

  • 1st Instalment Rs – 1000: On early registration of pregnancy at an Anganwadi center (AWC)/ approved health facility.

Do’s for PMMVY System

  • The Beneficiary Personal Details (Aadhaar/ Alternate ID details, Bank/ Post Office Account details, Name, and Mobile Number) should be stored securely. All provisions of the Aadhaar Act and IT Act regarding the security of data must have adhered to.
  • In case of a Rejection or Correction case by the Sanctioning Officer (SO), the exact reason for the rejection/correction request should be entered as per details available on the system.
  • The Sanctioning Officer should ensure all mandatory fields are filled as per details recorded in the physical Forms.
  • The passwords should not be shared.
  • Ensure usage of the latest browser with correct browser settings and proper internet connectivity.
  • Always log out before leaving the system.
  • Regularly change the password.
  • PMMVY CAS runs on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox Mozilla, etc. available on Desktop/Laptop, and does not support android on mobile.


Don’ts for PMMVY System

  • Never update or make changes to the Master Data fields that don’t correspond to the Local Government Directory Codes. (Example: Addition of a new AWC Code by the District Nodal Officer)
  • Beneficiary details (Aadhaar/ Alternate ID details, Account Details) should not be stored outside of the PMMVY system and should not be visible on any reports generated from the PMMVY system.
  • In case the system shows an error on account of ineligibility as per the data inputs, do not tamper with the data to resolve the error.
  • Do not take screenshots of Beneficiary Details while working on the system.
  • Do not share your passwords with other users.
  • Do not write passwords down.
