Procedure

• You must first of all identify a child. You can identify a child in an orphanage or any other means you wish.
• Then you must obtain the consent of the natural parent(s) of that child.
• Undergo medical test to determine medical fitness with regards to raising a child(ren).
• This applies to both applicant(s) as well as the child(ren) to be adopted. Apply to the Supreme Court of Seychelles.

Eligibility

Any person above 21 years who is found to be fit and proper to raise a child may apply to adopt a child. Adopt with prior application made to the Supreme Court.
