EligibilityEdit

The vehicle's owner or his/her duly authorized representative may apply for the procedure.

FeesEdit

For mopeds, scooters: 3,000 FCFA
For vehicles with a power of 2 up to 9 HP: 4,500 FCFA
For vehicles with a power of 10 to 13 HP: 7,500 FCFA
For vehicles with a power greater than 13 HP: 10,500 FCFA
For public transport vehicles power less than 12 HP: 1,000 FCFA
For public transport vehicles of superior power to 12 HP: 2,000 FCFA

Note: Renewal is free.

The registration certificate and technical ability commonly called "gray card" is essential to any distribution of a vehicle. The card identifies the vehicle and its owner. The card bears dates the vehicle was inspected and declared as road worthy. A vehicle owner must be able to present his/her registration certificate when asked by authorities.
