Apply by Mail:
- To Surrendering your Driver License, the applicant has to mail the application to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency link
- The applicant can download the application form from the following
- for car and motor bikes link
- Bus, coach or lorry licences Link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the DVLA office.
- The mailing address are given in “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- The applicant will receive an reply mail or SMS regarding the acceptance of surrendering their license.
- The entire process can be completed within 7 – 10 or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
