- To Apply for a Collective Worship Copyright License, the applicant must make the application online by using the following link link
- The applicant must click “Start Now” which will be directed to Christian Copyright Licensing International website.
- In that the applicant must “What We Provide” and select “Copyright Licenses” from the drop-down menu.
- In that the applicant must select the type of license and click “Order Today”.
- It will direct to the login page. In that, the applicant must click Sign In and enter Email and Password to signing in.
- If the applicant is a new user click “Get Started” and create a new account.
- Then the applicant must fill he necessary details and upload the necessary documents, that are mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Then the applicant must pay the prescribed fee to purchase the license. The fee details are also mentioned in Fees section of this page.
- Then the applicant will receive the license via post or email.
- This entire process can be completed within 2-3 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

The applicant needs a licence if they are:
- Create their own service sheets or hymn books for pupils and staff
- Create their own overhead projector acetates
- Create their own song words database for use with song projection software
- Type song words into the applicant’s computer and store them for future use
- Record music from the applicant’s services (eg carol services) on video or audio
FeesEdit
- The cost of the CWCL varies depending on the size of the school or educational institution. For example, a school with 100-199 pupils would pay £197 per year for the CWCL.

- The validity of the license is one year and it must be renewed annually.
