  1. To Apply for Interest Free Digital Development Loan, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “REGISTER” button.
  3. The applicant has to click the “REGISTER AN INTEREST”
  4. Now the applicant has to enter the registration details and click the “REGISTER” button.
  5. The applicant has to login by using the email address and password and then click the “LOGIN” button.
  6. Select the application form from the list option.
  7. The applicant has to enter all the details in the application form.
  8. Upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  9. There is no fee for this loan.
  10. After completing with all the details, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
  11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  12. Then the application will be processed further.
  13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  14. If the application is successful, the applicant will receive a loan offer outlining the terms and conditions. Carefully review the offer, and if the applicant agrees to the terms, formally accept the loan offer as per the instructions provided.
  15. Once the loan is disbursed, use the funds for the approved digital development projects according to the applicant’s business plan.
  16. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

To be eligible for the loan, the applicant’s business must meet the following criteria:

  • Be registered or based in Scotland
  • Have been trading for at least 12 months
  • Have a turnover of less than £25 million
  • Be able to demonstrate a need for the loan
  • Be able to repay the loan within the agreed terms
