- To Apply for Communities Leading in Tourism Personal Leadership Program, the applicant has to approach the Social Enterprise Academy (Scotland) link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- Craft a compelling personal statement that highlights the applicant’s interest in the program, his/her leadership experience, and how participating in the program will benefit him /her and his/her community. Tailor the applicant’s statement to align with the objectives and values of the Communities Leading in Tourism Personal Leadership Program.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.
- The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- If the applicant is shortlisted, he/she may be invited for an interview or further assessment as part of the selection process.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit
To be eligible to apply for the Communities Leading in Tourism Personal Leadership Program in Scotland, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be working or volunteering with a community organisation or social enterprise with an interest in tourism.
- The applicant must be from rural Scotland.
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate how taking part in the programme will help him/her deliver long-term local benefit.
- The applicant must be able to commit to the full programme, which runs for 6 months.

- The Communities Leading in Tourism Personal Leadership Program in Scotland is a fully funded, six-month online programme that aims to develop the leadership skills of people working in community-led tourism organisations in Scotland.
- The programme is delivered by the Social Enterprise Academy on behalf of the Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and Skills Development Scotland.
