- To Apply for an Aircraft License, the applicant has to make their application online via link
- The applicant has to click the “Online form” button.
- The applicant has to check the details for the application process and click the “I ACCEPT TERMS AND USAGE” button.
- Enter all the details about the aircraft and click the “Continue” button.
- Enter the application details and click the “Continue” button.
- Upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page and click the “Continue” button.
- Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode and click the “Continue” button.
- Once completed with all the details check the declaration and given information and click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
- The office may conduct an inspection or verification process to ensure the aircraft's compliance with safety and airworthiness standards. This may include physical inspections, document reviews, or other assessments.
- Once the application is processed and approved, the office will issue a Certificate of Registration for the aircraft. This document serves as proof of the aircraft's registration in Scotland.
- This entire process can be completed within 3- 7 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
