Procedure

• Visit the concerned authority.
• Fill the application form with the complete information. It must be typewritten or computerized and must be signed and stamped by the employer.
• Submit the necessary documents.
• Pay the prescribed fees.

Required Documents

• Valid passport
• 2 recent colour photographs (4 x 6 in size)
• Work licence issued by Labour Office (for those who works private sectors)
• Copy of employer's Civil Affairs ID (for individuals)
• Medical report by an authorised hospital or clinic (for restaurant and kitchen labourer, chef, maid and private driver)
• Expired Resident Permit (Iqama)

Working Hours

• Morning shift - from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• Evening shift - from 04:00 p.m. to 09:00 p.m.

Work Days

• Morning shift - from Saturday to Wednesday.
• Evening shift - full week

Fees

• Renewal of residence permit of the household labor working with individuals such as housemaid and private driver - S.R. 350 detailed as follows:
  • S.R 250 for resident permit
  • S.R 100 for work license
• Renewal of residence permit for labor working with individuals such as nursemaid, guard and shepherd - S.R. 600 detailed as follows:
  • S.R 500 for resident permit
  • S.R 100 for work license
• Issuance & Renewal of residence permit for labor working with companies, establishments or factories (all Professions) - S.R 750 detailed as follows:
  • S.R 500 for resident permit
  • S.R 100 for work license
  • S.R 150 human resources fee

Note: Iqama fees must be paid paid through ATM, internet or banking phone

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
