Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Apply for Travel Agency License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. The applicant has to click the “Start Service” button.
3. It will be redirected to the new page.
4. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Create an account” button.
5. Select the type citizen from the options menu.
6. Followed by reading the terms and conditions and clicking the “the next” button.
7. Enter all the registration details and click the “the next” button.
8. The applicant has to enter the verification code which is sent through the mobile number.
9. After completing click the “Submit” button.
10. To log in the applicant has to enter the username and password with the captcha code and click the “Entrance” button.
11. Now, the applicant needs to select the application form from the option listed.
12. Enter all the details in the application form and click the “Next” button.
13. Also, upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
14. Pay the prescribed fee amount in online mode.
15. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
16. Then the application will be processed further.
17. GATH will review your application and may conduct inspections of your office premises to ensure compliance with the required standards.
18. Once your application is approved, you will receive the travel agency license from GATH or the respective authority. The license will specify the terms and conditions of operation, validity period, and any additional requirements.
19. The applicant can take print by login through the portal.
20. This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

• Copy of the company's articles of association and memorandum of association.
• A business plan detailing the operations, services, and marketing strategies of the travel agency.
• Proof of financial capability, such as audited financial statements or bank statements.
• Copies of passports and identification documents of the company's shareholders and key personnel.
• Certificate of Good Conduct for the company's shareholders and key personnel.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Chamber of Commerce.
• Lease agreement or proof of ownership for the office premises.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for a travel agency license in Saudi Arabia, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Saudi citizen or a foreigner with a valid residency permit.
• Have a bachelor's degree in travel and tourism management or a related field.
• Have at least two years of experience in the travel industry.
• Have a clean criminal record.
• Be able to speak and write Arabic fluently.
