Procedure

• Visit the concerned authority.
• Fill the application form with the complete information of the baby.
• Submit all the necessary documents.
• Pay the necessary fees.

• 2 recent group-photos excluding the family guardian (6 x 4 cm in size)
• Medical examination (for babies born outside the Kingdom)
• Original and copy of the baby's birth certificate (for babies born inside the Kingdom)

• Entry visa fee is S.R. 2000
• Fine for late completion of addition is S.R. 500 (for babies born outside the Kingdom)
• Fine for late completion of addition is S.R. 1000 (for babies born inside the Kingdom)

Instructions

For babies born outside the Kingdom:

• The baby must be in the Kingdom during the adding process.
• The addition is done within 3 months as of entry stamp date. There is a penalty for late addition.

For babies born inside the Kingdom:

• Add the baby to the passport of one of the parents at the embassy or get him a separate passport.
