Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To obtain a driver’s license extract, the applicant will need to visit the nearest Motor License Issuer. Find the nearest office here Link
2. The applicant will need to complete an application form. Click on the following link to download the application form Link
3. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
4. Submit the application form to the Motor License Issuer.
5. The applicant will need to pay a fee, find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
6. The applicant will receive their driver’s license extract the same day; it can be collected from the counter after fee payment.

Apply Online

1. To obtain a driver’s license extract, the applicant can use the MySGI online service. Here is the contact Link
2. If the applicant has an account, log in. If the applicant does not have an account, follow these steps:
   • On the log in page, click on the “Register” option.
   • Enter all the relevant information such as name, address, telephone number and so on.
   • Agree to the terms and conditions and click on “Submit”.
   • The applicant will need to confirm the email by clicking on the verification link sent to the applicant’s email ID.
   • Once all the details have been entered, click on “Submit” to create an account.
3. Once logged in, the applicant can order driver’s extract online through online orders.
4. The applicant will need to pay a fee, find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
5. The applicant can download and print their extract immediately after submission.

Eligibility

• The applicant must have a Saskatchewan Driver’s License.

Fees

• The applicant will need to pay a fee of 15$ for each abstract requested.

Validity

• The extract is valid for 5 years, the applicant can also choose the validity.
