Procedure

Apply by Phone:

1. To apply for Youth Take Charge Program, the applicant can approach the Department of Canadian Heritage. Here is the contact Link
2. The applicant will need to contact the department of Canadian Heritage to obtain the application form. Find contact details under the “Office location and contacts” section of this page.
3. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
4. The applicant will need to attach copies of all the required documents and find a list of documents in the application form.
5. Submit the application form to the following email address [email protected]
6. Once submitted, the application form will be forwarded to the relevant authorities.
7. The applicant does not need to pay fees.
8. The applicant shall receive all communications and their results by email. It will take two weeks to process the application.

Eligibility

• The organisation must be Canadian and non-for-profit.
• Or the organization must be a Canadian-registered charitable group.
• Or the organization must be an indigenous representative organisation.
• The organisation must have experience serving youth on a national or provincial/territorial scale.
• The organisation must have security and safety policies in place that show the nature and strength of experience in delivering youth programs.

Fees

• The applicant does not need to pay fees.

Validity

• The program is valid for one year.
