Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Youth Employment and Skills Program in person, the applicant has to visit the regional office of the Youth Employment and Skills Program.
- Address and contact details of the Youth Employment and Skills Program can be found in the following Contact link
- Visit the office as applicable and obtain a Project Application Form for the Youth Employment and Skills Program, from the relevant department.
- Make sure that all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page, are available while visiting the office.
- The staff will provide the application form to be completed by the applicant. The applicant has to complete it with the required information.
- After completing, the required documents should be attached with the form and submitted to the official.
- The application process is free and the applicant need not pay anything to apply for the program.
- Once the application has been submitted, the department will review and assess the application against the parameters and criteria of the program.
- If any additional information is required, the applicant will be contacted by the department and they should respond to the department as required.
- Within 50 business days, the Program will notify the applicant in writing about the conditional approval of rejection of the application.
- Applications that are approved will be taken to the further levels of processing. Those applicants will be informed and provided with the other necessary forms to be completed.
- When all the required forms have been furnished, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will send the allocated payment to the applicant, within thirty business days.
Apply through email
- To apply for Youth Employment and Skills Program through email, the applicant has to forward an application to the email address of the Youth Employment and Skills Program.

- The Department will send the application to the applicant through any of the applicable modes.

EligibilityEdit
- Agricultural related organizations which offer opportunities to develop agriculture career-related work experiences and skills for the young people in Canada, can apply.
- Applicants must be legal entities and capable of entering into binding agreements legally.
- Projects must have started after April 1, 2022 and must be completed by March 31, 2023.

- Successful applicants who have entered into a Contribution Agreement with AAFC will be sent a payment within 30 business days of receipt of a duly completed and documented financial claim.
