EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must complete the Saskatchewan regulatory exam to be able to apply for the licence.
  • The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
  • If the applicant wishes to operate a storage facility, they will need an approval number provided by the Hazardous Substances and Waste Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • The license is not transferable and is valid only for the person whose name is mentioned on it.
  • The applicant shall keep all records of the pesticides sold.
  • Each pesticide vendor outlet will need its own individual license.
  • The applicant will need to employ one dispenser at each outlet.
  • The dispenser must be 18 years of age or older.
  • The dispenser will need to pass a training course every five years.

ValidityEdit

A pesticide license is valid till October 31st following the date of issue.
